to buy your entrance tickets to the Caves of Sare

Reservations are highly recommended. The purchase of tickets remains possible on site, for the same day, if there are still places available.

How to buy tickets ?

Prior booking is strongly recommended out of season and is mandatory in summer.

Purchase of tickets

Up to 4 hours before your visit :

Online, from our booking plateform, or from one of the Basque Country tourist information offices List of cities concerned

The day of your visit :

For an optimal experience, we limit the number of participants in guided tours. Therefore, prior online booking is preferred. The purchase of tickets remains possible on site, at the reception of the caves of Sare, for the same day, if there are still places available.

Means of payment

Online booking is only possible with a credit card payment.
Bank cheques, ANCV holiday vouchers (no change for holiday vouchers) and currency in Euro or Eusko (please note, only Eusko currency, change can be made at the town hall of Sare) are accepted, only on site or from a nearby tourist office.

Go to one of the tourist offices in the following towns to buy your tickets to the caves of Sare :

Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Urrugne, Ciboure, Guethary, Arcangues, Espelette, Sare, Ascain, Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle, Ainhoa, Hasparren, Bidache, La Bastide Clairence, Urt, Saint Etienne de Baigorry, Saint Jean Pied de Port, Saint Palais, Tardets-Sorholus, Mauléon-Licharre.

How to book online ?

On our web booking plateform, choose a visit then the day and time of your choice. Complete the purchase by following the instructions.
Download or print your e-ticket before you come, there is little network on the site of the caves of Sare.
On the day of your visit, go to the caves 30min before your visit time (during site opening hours) and present your confirmation at the ticket office.
In exchange, you will receive a "Caves of Sare" ticket allowing you to access your guided tour.
