The overlapping basins you see before you are called "gours".
The small dams surrounding them were formed by water, enriched in calcium carbonate while seeping through the limestone.
The water then deposited its precious cargo around the edges before continuing on to rest for a moment, as you’ll see not far from here, before heading off again in search of the light of day.
